Darlan F . MARTI
Darlan F. MARTÍ is a counsellor at the Market Access Division of the WTO. He works on a variety of legal and economic issues related to market access for goods, such as tariffs, WTO Schedules of concessions, import licenses, prohibitions and other non-tariff barriers as well as trade facilitation. He has served as the Secretary of the WTO Committee on Rules of Origin since 2012 and has, in that capacity, been assisting WTO Members in their discussions related to rules of origin and origin requirements. He also been leading the team that conducts research and examines the linkages between rules of origin and the utilization of trade preferences. Darlan is a Brazilian national and was educated in the US, UK and France (Master of Laws, LL.M).
